Dallas Arts District Tour - September 5, 2009
The Dallas Arts District, covering approximately 68 acres in downtown Dallas, is currently the largest urban arts district in the United States. The first Saturday of every month you can take a free guided tour of the area by participating in The Arts District Stroll. The walk begins at 10:30 in front of the Crow Collection of Asian Art and takes about an hour. The next tour will be September 5, 2009.
In celebration of the October opening of The Dallas Center for the Performing Arts(DCPA), The Dallas Center for Architecture(DCFA) will have an exhibition called, Putting it in Context:The Architecture of the Dallas Arts District. The exhibit will trace the development of the District and examine its rich architecture.
What a great opportunity to learn about the arts venues in the Dallas Arts District! This will be the place to be this fall.
