Why Are You Still Renting?!?!

According to http://www.texanscu.org/ mortgage rates as of 1/12/2009 for a 30 year FIXED loan is 4.875%! In July of 2007 my wife and I were happy to get a 6% interest rate, and my brother who makes great money but has terrible credit just closed on his home December 24, 2008 with a mortgage rate of 5.5%!

So, my question to all the apartment renters out there is

"WHY ARE YOU STILL RENTING?

So, because of the credit crunch and the foreclosures going on this pushed a lot of people into becoming a renter instead of a home owner... This mean's that the apartments can charge higher rent and get what they are asking for!
