When I was in highschool in Rockwall, Fate was a mere blink and you miss it town. Though the town was established in the late 1800's, in 1950 Six men held a meeting for the purpose of establishing fresh drinking water from the new Lake Lavon. These men are honored in the naming of the streets that are built. . The City of Fate will continue to recognize the residents and business owners of our town in the past with this same honor. The new residents of Fate will have a part of the City's History with these street names!! Which is really cool!

This town sat for over 50 years with everyone knowing their neighbors. When I was in highschool (which I won't give you that date !! ) in Rockwall, Fate was a mere blink and you miss it town. Today the City of Fate has changed. The City approved one of the largest developments in Rockwall County with over 5000 new homes now know as Woodcreek. They have planned 4 Lane Divided Parkways to accomodate all the new growth.

As a small rural town near Dallas, Texas it continues to grow into an urban city with the main goal :
