Flower Mound, TX STEP

The Flower Mound Police Department will conduct a focused traffic enforcement program from May 21 to June 3 in order to enforce the State's DWI, occupant protection, and speeding laws during the Memorial Day holiday. The grant-funded program will allow additional Police Officers to patrol for impaired drivers and occupant protection violations during this stretch of time.

The time period for this campaign was selected because of the increased number of violations and accidents that historically occur during the Memorial Day holiday. The Flower Mound Police Department would like to remind residents that following posted speed limits, wearing seatbelts, and not driving under the influence saves lives
