I Have A Dream, A Good Thing

On this year's Martin Luther King holiday, I harken back to his words of looking ahead to fairness for all races, "I have a dream...... I may not get there with you....."

It was prophetic, with improving civil rights over time and his unfortunate death too, and that the struggle for equal rights under the law takes time. Time for prejudices and old unfair ideas to work their way out of our society. Nothing in life is ever PERFECT but good people keep trying.

Martin Luther King was as flawed as the rest of us. But he did have a DREAM. Dreams in all of our lives get us to the next stage, a vision with hope for something better. If you can SEE IT, it can most definitely happen in reality. I think personally all of us should say

I HAVE A DREAM....... it is a GOOD THING.....
