As promised, this is part two of the Series "Interested in Lease Homes in Forney and Rockwall, Texas."

In part one, we discussed giving your 30 days notice, conducting your search and contacting Minter Real Estate Services.

In this Part Two discussion we will discuss Fees and processing procedures.

Fees: You should be prepared to pay application fee and transaction fees for each person over the age of 18, that will be living on the property.. You will have to complete a Leasing Application and be sure it is accurate with correct contact names and phone numbers.

Processing - processing can be done in-house or by a third party processing company. In this stage, y our employment will be verified, your rental history will be checked and your employment history will be verified as well. Also, a Criminal Background check will be conducted on each applicant.

Approval - Once your application is approved, it will be in your best interest to pay your security deposit immediately. This will take the property off of the market and prevent other applicants from applying for the same property.

Leasing a home is a very similar to apartment leasing, but in some cases you are dealing directly with the owner of the home or a property management company. Guidelines are stringent and competition is tough. So you have to be certain that you are ready to lease and are prepared to pay the necessary fees.
