Both yesterday and today I checked our thermometer outside at home. It is in the shade and read 100 degrees yesterday and today at 7 PM !
Earlier this week we had a high pushing 107. I haven't checked to see about records but a feel this is one of the hottest Junes ever for this part of Texas. Our sprinklers have been running non stop. There will be a point however where we will have to start conserving more. This area has a rather large aquifer compared to others but we still need to conserve. Let's hope the heat wave dissipates real soon! If id doesn't we are all in for a long hot summer. Make sure those pets have plent of water right now too.
Stay Cool!

Trey, It's 99 in St. George, Utah right now with an expected 103 by Monday. Turn on the misters and grab a beverage!
It's bound to be a record buster this year, YUK!

I really do need to buy some misters. They seem to work.
Howdy there Trey
I sure do hope that every part of the Grand State of Texas, gets some much needed rain real soon. And that it helps to cool down the thermoneter for all my friends.
I never minded the heat except that it always seemed to come with 100% humidity, and it wasn't even raining? I've discovered out here that I can do up to about 115° since there's little to no humidity. Sure makes one thirsty when one finally gets home, though.

We actuall have rain clouds over us today and a few showers. First time in weeks!!
