Looking for yet another reason to love living in Frisco? How about this . . .FRISCO SQUARE TO HOST "MOVIES IN THE SQUARE" EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT THIS SUMMER.

Movies under the stars in Frisco TX

In the heart of Frisco sits our beautiful new Frisco Square, a master-planned lifestyle community which combines retail, restaurants, office space and homes. Frisco Square will host Movies in the Square featuring family-oriented movies each Friday evening at 9:00 PM beginning June 1 through August 10, 2007.

Each Friday night in Frisco Square the movies will be projected on a giant, 26' x 13' inflatable movie screen. So everyone bring your lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy the outdoor movies in comfort. This is a free event. However, summer-time refreshments such as snow cones, popcorn and nuts will be available for a purchase.

If you haven't heard the news yet, Studio Movie Grill, is opening a new location at Frisco Square in December 2007. In the meantime the folks at Studio Movie Grill have offered to be a lead sponsor of Movies in the Square. We would like to thank them and welcome them to Frisco.

"Frisco Square is becoming known for its family-friendly events such as Christmas in the Square and Fair in the Square," noted Jim Leslie, managing partner of Frisco Square. "Movies in the Square is another enjoyable activity to entertain Frisco families."

Frisco Square is a pedestrian-friendly development that features shopping, dining, office space, apartment living, town homes, park space and Frisco's new city hall and library. Although it is already in use, when it is complete, the 147-acre project will showcase approximately 1.5 million square feet of office space, 500,000 square feet of retail space, 1400 apartments, 500 town homes/stacked-flats/condominiums, and 144,000 square feet of municipal facilities.

Directions: Frisco Square is at the southeast corner of the Dallas North Tollway and Main Street. It is located in the heart of Frisco and directly across from Pizza Hut Park, the world's largest soccer complex and home to FC Dallas.
