Frisco's D-League Team to have First Female Head Coach, Nancy Lieberman. Also Featuring Del Harris as GM and Spud Webb as the Team's President of Operations!

 

Frisco's NBA Developmental League (D-League) Team will announce the teams first head coach today.  Two-time Olympian, Nancy Lieberman will be announced as the team's coach which will also make her the league's first female head coach.  In addition to her success as a player, Lieberman has also had great success as a coach and GM in the WNBA.

Joining Lieberman will be Former Maverick's Assistant Coach, Dell Harris.  Harris will serve as the team's General Manager.  Rounding out the well known names is Dallas's own, Spud Webb who will be named as the team's President of Basketball Operations.

Frisco's team is owned by Mavericks GM, Donnie Nelson and Evan Wyly.  The team will begin play in the 2010-11 basketball season and will play their games at the Dr. Pepper Arena, in Frisco.
