A Day to be Thankful

It's finally here - Thanksgiving Day where every American, young and old, short and tall, round and not celebrate a day of Thanks. As for me, this has been a relatively "quiet" week with lots of paperwork, phone calls and running around to catch up on.

My husband and son stayed home, just chilling out - the perfect way to spend family time, in my opinion.

We'll have a feast with 14 people tomorrow. We'll probably eat from lunch to dinner, while enjoying some football too. Nope, this Malaysian family will not have the traditional Turkey and stuffing but instead our very own Malaysian style hot pot. I guess you can take the family out of Malaysia, but you'd never take the Malaysian out of the family. LOL.

A day to remember for all the good things the Lord has bless us with. Most of all, to be thankful to be alive.

Seeing my son just hanging out, relaxing at home in his jammies all day long has been a treat and I didn't think I would say that. Until the next blog - Happy Thanksgiving from the couch !!!
