Debbie Weaver has an interesting business. She is a private housekeeper. Her clients comprise some of the Island's most prominent families. In fact one of her clients is the 90+ year old daughter of the captain of the concrete ship that is sunk in Galveston harbor, just off of Pelican Island, and has been a tourist attraction since World War II. I've known this particular client for my whole life.
Debbie cleans, cooks, shops, advises, gardens, handles the business of running a household. She knows everyone, so she can call in favors at a moment's notice; say to get a plumber, electrician or a specially prepared meal made and delivered.
I've known her family for years. In fact, I went to school with her stepdad, Jim Watts, and I call her my sister, even though she's really not.
I'm posting her web site for those of you in Galveston County who could use a Debra Weaver in your life. In fact she's probably the perfect solution for grown children who live elsewhere and who would like the comfort of knowing someone responsible is looking in on their parents, making certain they keep their doctors appointments, bills paid and such.
