Galveston Texas has a lot to Offer

I was working with my clients today hoping to seal the deal on a beachfront house when they brought up a great source of pride for me. They said "Galveston has a lot to offer!", and they are right. This couple is from Atlanta and formerly owned in Hilton Head beach. So, for them to say Galveston is wonderful and the beaches are clean was amazing to me. Prices, they said, in Hilton head were in the $2-$3 million range for beachfront. Here however the most expensive home they looked at was under $700,000 and that was for a new 4 bedroom beachfront home. The part I was most excited about was the way they loved the things to do in Galveston. They had visited Moody Gardens for 2 days; they were headed to the Schlitterbahn water park, and had shopped the strand. And they loved the beach... They had heard stories of dirty oil platforms and tar on the beaches and so when they arrived here they were a bit worried, but they found all the stories to be false. Galveston has nice clean beaches with clear water for much of the year. Clear water you can swim in, fish in, and enjoy for 9 months or more a year! In fact, my clients enjoyed going to the beach and picking up shells on a warm 70 degree December day. In the end, they had a few nice options and once they discovered how great the Galveston vacation rental market is they were ready to go! So if you've heard bad things about Galveston, or you've just never had the time- the time is now for Galveston Texas!
