Month of October 2011 – Only 17 homes were sold in October. Not since January of this year were so few re-sales sold in a single month in Sun City Texas. This statistic by itself could be very unsettling, but readers must be reminded August had 34 sales and September had 30 sales exceeding last year by 43%. Selling prices are up across the board with the exception of high-end homes, which were down 10.2% to $281K.

Year To Date October 2011 – Selling prices are up across the board vs. last year with increases in average/median/entry-level categories. High-end sales prices are skewed due to a custom home sale earlier this year and not your typical Pulte or Del Webb built home. Volume of homes sold remains stable with one more unit recorded compared to a year ago.
