It is our mission to provide for the preservation of life and property through aggressive and innovative Fire Prevention, Public Education, Suppression, and Emergency Medical Services. It is our charge to provide these services to the citizens and visitors of our community in a professional and courteous manner utilizing both volunteer and paid personnel working in harmony to achieve our goals. The HVFD will continue to seek input from within the community and utilize Support Services made up volunteer groups formed within the Department.
We are always accepting applications for volunteer firefighters, EMT's and Paramedics. If you have an interest in serving the citizens and visitors of Highland Village in a rewarding career as a volunteer firefighter/EMT, please stop by the fire station at 948 Highland Village Road. Our office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Stop in and ask for a volunteer application. Please keep in mind that applications are reviewed as they are received. However, interviews for prospective volunteers are only held one evening a month, usually on a Wednesday night. |  |
