This is the Jimi Hendrix memorial in Renton Washington (near Seattle). I was able to pull this up in my GPS by looking for attractions when I was in the Seattle area. Jimi Hendrix's grave came up -- I was kind of suprised, but pleased. To get the exact address, look it up in the Seattle Edition of Fodor's. The marble and granite were beautiful.
Close up of the interior of the monument. There is a place in the top of the centerpiece for flowers. There is also a sundial in the grassy area surrounding the memorial.
After I got done taking picutes of the Jimi Hendrix memorial, I happened to notice this wonderful asian section of the cemetary. This has to be one of the coolest final resting places I have ever seen. Fountains and a pagoda and a bridge over the water. They even have little gated plots for families.
Here is one of the private family sections. Look at the adorable cap on the headstone.
Another look at fountains and pagoda in the main section of the cemetary. This actually didn't seem like a cemetary, just tranquil and peaceful. Somebody did a great job of planning this.
