Cool Things to do in Seattle

Cool things to do in Seattle. Going up to the top of the space needle would be great. This is the underside of the space needle. They were having a private function the afternoon I went so I did not get to go to the top. The gift shop did have some great flourescent t shirts though.

Since we couldn't go up the space needle, we decided to ride the monorail. Something I haven't done for a long time.

In downtown Seattle is the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park. There is another Klondike Gold Rush Historical Park in Alaska that I went to as well, now I have national passport stamps from both.

This is in the Klondike Museum. This is an example of the 1500 pounds of food that the prospectors had to have to be allowed to go to the Klondike.

A block away from the Klondike Museum is a water wall garden where many people go to have lunch or just hang out. This is one corner of it. There are picnic tables and little secluded areas for people to sit and chat or even just read.

Another place that is great to go is the Chittenden Locks and Carl S. English Jr. Botanical Garden. The locks are really cool and if you go across the locks you can see the fish ladder, and the gardens are just wonderful with all sorts of beautiful colors of flowers.
