Every vocation seems to develop a lingo of its own.
Have you ever watched a prospective buyers eyes glaze over when you begin to explain the buying process?
From the first time you begin explaining all the steps past the initial offer, it is important that you check yourself to be sure you are speaking the same language. It is all too easy to lapse into a dialect of abreviations.
Just because you know what a BPO or CMA or a HUD is does not mean it is common knowledge. It is important that both you and the buyer know what you are talking about. Misunderstandings are all too easy in the home buying process. Speaking "Real Estate "Is all too easy when you are exposed to it on a daily basis.
Be thoughtful of those you serve and speak to them in language they can understand. And just to be sure.... ASK them if they understood.
