Closing My First ActiveRain Referral

With much anticipation and excitement, I formally announce the successful closing of my first ActiveRain referral! While many have contacted me through the posts and updates seen here in the 'Rain, late April marks the first closing for a lead offered through another professional via ActiveRain.

Paul from Washington contacted me months ago regarding his nephew, Brian, who is a young professional here in the Metroplex. The time had come for Brian to take on homeownership, and I was certainly honored to receive the call (...are you kidding, little ol' me here in the Big D?!)

Brian and I soon met and hit it off instantly - he offered great insight into what his likes and dislikes were right off the bat and we were hitting the pavement within a few days for the search. We saw our fair share of homes before finding the perfect one for him in Irving, a mid-cities suburb of Dallas. The purchase was made even sweeter by an attentive and communicative Listing Agent and two kind Sellers who went the extra mile with the care taken in the home.
