African Children’s Choir performing in Katy Texas

The African Children’s Choir, who is Grammy nominated, will perform a free concert at Katy’s Memorial Lutheran Church on Wednesday January 4, 2011.

The concert begins at 7:00 P.M. and the church is located at 5810 third St. (Old Katy) Katy Texas.

This Choir has worked with numerous vulnerable African children and has performed with artists such as Paul McCartney,

Annie Lennox Tony Bennett, Mariah Carey, Josh Groban and Alicia Keys. While the concert is free, it is suggested a donation be made to the African Children’s choir. All collected proceeds

from choir performances will be used to allow the Choir to raise World awareness of the plight of millions of needy children in Africa. These donations support

expansion of sponsorship for the choir and educational programs for both current choir members and many other students they represent.
