With the continuous growth in the Katy area, the demand for care facilities to accommodate the rise in population has become more relevant than ever. Experts expect the population in the Katy, Texas area to increase an additional 50,000 residents by the year 2012, according to an article in the Houston Chronicle. To adhere to the rapid growth, three new hospitals will soon be entering the Katy area. Texas Children's West Campus, The Methodist Hospital and St. Luke's Episcopal Heath System facility will all be available to Katy residents between 2008 and 2010. Obviously this is great opportunity for continual growth and rise in the local Katy economy. As we have seen recently with the "lower market conditions", this is a sign for the better that most of the local communities are still flourishing in these atypical times.
