Old Chicago for Great Pizza in Killeen

Les and I had lunch today in Killeen at Old Chicago, and I was totally IMPRESSED with their pizza! And not just the pizza! The whole menu looks great, the food appears fresh made, pizza is LOADED with sauce with fresh tomatos and about a megaton of melted ooey gooey cheese.

I had the Tuscan Steak Salad and Les had the buffet with those rich thick, gooey pizzas, calzones, breadsticks, mac n cheese with ham and I can't remember what else. He said two slices was about all he could handle because they were so huge! (And I sneaked a bite or two to be sure he knew what he was talking about!)

The service was fantastic, too. (Thanks, Kristin!) There's a sports bar in the front left of the building featuring 101 kinds of beer and plenty of TVs to cover all the sporting events. Even the dining room to the rear has strategically splaced TVs so you can keep up with the news and sports.

Lunch for the two of us was $21.57, which is about average for a restaurant ticket in Killeen. We will be back!
