You're on a roll taking the Holiday Decorations down and getting your house back to "everyday". If you are about to drag your live tree down to the curb . . . how about bringing your tree to the Recycling Center.

The League City Recycling Center is at 1535 Dickinson Avenue, under the FM 96 overpass a little east of Hwy 3. Bring only live trees and remove all decorations. Christmas trees are only accepted during business hours. They will grind the trees and use the organic material.

You can bring clear and colored glass and also paper and plastic to be recycled. There is a container for used motor oil as well.

Recycling Center Hours: (closed Jan 1-4)
January 5-31: 7:30 am - 5 pm Monday - Friday
