Grand Opening of the Old Town Community Garden in Lewisville, Texas

Used to be a parking lot, the Old Town Community Garden is providing an environment for inexperienced and experienced gardeners to build a community spirit. Surplus produce will be donated to the CCA food pantry where 30% of the angels are diabetic and in need of nutritious food. Individuals and volunteer groups have worked for months creating fertile soil for planting, a compost pile, decorative arbor and walkways. Everyone is very excited about this shared vision, so join us for the grand opening!

May 19, 2007, 10AM at 200 Kealy Street, Lewisville Texas

Refreshments will be served so come celebrate!
