Dukes first trip to the beach.........Matagorda, Texas

My husband and I decided that we needed to take our old german shorthair, Duke, to a beach, while he was still mobile. We are about 2.5 hours from Matagorda so we packed a picnic lunch and headed that way on Sunday. It was an easy drive from Bastrop 71 to 90 to 60 and down to the beach. It was a glorious day. Surf was mild, water was perfect, weather was totally beachy! Duke was not as impressed with the beach as we thought he would be. His Rock You presentation will tell the story below. Enjoy!
