It's Heavy....Two Tons Heavy at Gruene Hall.

gruene It's not pronounced "groo-inn" or "groo-nee" it is GREEN just like the color!

This little town has charm plus...Gruene, Texas at the edge of New Braunfels on the banks of the Guadalupe River in the Hill Country of Texas. Probably the most famous feature in Gruene is the crown jewel of the community Gruene Hall...aka...Texas' Oldest Dance Hall.

Gruene Hall is without a doubt the home of Americana music where many big name artists got their start and often return for concerts. It is a great place with tons of character, a laid back atmosphere, good times, good friends and always a good time for everyone. It is located in the heart of Gruene right next to the Grist Mill restaurant which has fabulous food and a great open air dining experience overlooking the Guadalupe River.

Gruene Hall is a great place to visit anytime...but the summertime is an especially fun time!

The Texas Hill Country is chock full of fun and entertaining things to do all summer long and here is another one for you! Every Tuesday night at Gruene Hall is known as "TWO TON TUESDAY." Two Ton Tuesday features the "rockabilly" or "countrybilly" band TWO TONS OF STEEL every Tuesday night at 8:30 pm and the cover is $4.00 per person.
