This alone should give you peace of mind when you are spending thousands of dollars for your new home.

You buy a home, you order a home inspector to conduct the home inspection. This comes under services.
The inspector ensures that the inspection and inspection report will meet all applicable requirements for the state of Texas. All home inspectors in Texas come under the umbrella of TREC (Texas Real Estate Commission) and abide by a well recognized standard of practice and code of ethics.
The inspection will take approximately 3-5 hours (longer depending on the size of the home). The standard inspection report includes a review of the home's heating and air-conditioning systems; plumbing and wiring; roof, attic, walls, ceilings, floors, windows, doors,and foundation. A detailed report with digital photos are supplied to you the buyer.
When you finish your comparison... how much you spend for services and other items,you will be glad you ordered the home inspection. It's a minimal amount for a one time service charge to inspect the home for any issues that may need attention before you complete the purchase.
