I would like to say "thank you" to all of our Veterans and Active Troops. Americans owe our freedom to you and we will not forget.
My dad was in WWII and the Korean Wars. He was a quiet man who rarely spoke of his "war" times and if he did tell us a story, it was something funny that had happened to him. Those wars were not funny, but he would have never shared the horrors of what he had seen with his children. If you have the privilege of knowing one of these veterans, you are blessed. These men did what they had to do. Some came home and some did not.
My husband lost his only brother in Korea - a POW, never returned home.
God Bless Our Veterans and Troops. Bless their families and give them strength, Today, our American Flag is flying in our front yard in your honor.
If you have something bad to say about American, don't do it today! You are liable to end up on your behind. In the word's of Merle Haggard's song - "If you don't love it, leave it".
