Pearland's Hometown Christmas Festival

Feel the Christmas spirit come alive as Pearland Parks and Recreation teams up with the Pearland Town Center to host the City's Annual Hometown Christmas Festival and Tree Lighting Ceremony.

On Friday evening, Mayor Reid & Santa Claus will light up the sky as they plug in the City's Christmas Tree at the annual Tree Lighting ceremony. The event will feature a laser light show and ice carving performance by Reverend Butter, as seen on TLC's Chainsaw Ice Sculptors! Holiday activities will continue throughout the weekend on Saturday and Sunday.

7-9 p.m. - HEB Plus! Tree Lighting Ceremony

Saturday, December 3
8-11 a.m. - Breakfast with Santa (benefitting Forgotten Angels, a local non-profit organization)

Tickets are $5 per person and breakfast includes 1 FREE photo with Santa. Craft activities will also be available. To pre-purchase your breakfast ticket(s), contact the Forgotten Angels at 281-412-6435. Tickets will also be available the day of the event, while supplies last.

Noon-8 p.m. - Holiday Gift Market

3-4 p.m. - Dance Performance featuring: Dancescape by Joyce

4-7 p.m. - Free Balloot Art

6 p.m. - University of Houston Clear Lake, Pearland Campus Cookies & Milk with Santa (FREE admission, while supplies last)

6:30 p.m. - Movies Under the Stars - The Smurfs

Sunday, December 4
Noon- 6 p.m. - Holiday Gift Market

1-1:30 p.m. - Live musical performance featuring Silverlake Elementary

2-4 p.m. - FREE horse drawn carriage rides with Santa presented by JSC Federal Credit Union

2-5 p.m. - FREE craft activity (for children 12 & under) and FREE balloon art

3-4 p.m. - Live musical performance featuring Houston Choral Showcase
