Pearland's Lighted Christmas Parade - Dec. 3rd

The 30^th Annual Lighted Christmas Parade brings out dozens of floats and walking groups each year decked out in lights and holiday spirit. With this year’s theme, “Dance of the Snowflake,” expect a lot of fun entries! Plan to see drill teams, classic cars, company floats and many other community folks.

To help ring in the season, we invite YOU to join us as a participant in the parade! It’s time to get your creative ideas flowing, collecting float decorations and borrowing vehicles for the City of Pearland’s 30th Annual Lighted Christmas Parade! The parade is scheduled for Saturday, December 3, 2011 beginning at 6:00 p.m. Entries can be from businesses, non-profit organizations, families, individuals – you name it. The parade route will travel west on FM 518 from Pearland Parkway to Old Alvin Road.

Who can participate? Individuals, non-profits, businesses, families, whomever! Walkers, floats with trailers, classic cars – you name it!

What’s the Route? The parade route will begin at FM 518 and Pearland Parkway and will travel west on FM 518 ending at Old Alvin Road.

Prizes will be given in the following four categories:

• Best Overall
• Best Use of Lights
• Best Theme ~ "Dance of the Snowflake"
• Best Walking Group
