Faithful Friends Needs Volunteers with Pets for Animal Assisted Therapy

Faithful Friends is an organization of volunteers who share a desire to spread joy to those in difficult situations by visiting them with their pets. Places visited include nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, mental health facilities, and special events in the Clear Lake, Pasadena, League City and surrounding areas. Fathful Friends is a ministry of University Baptist Church in Clear Lake City, but you do not have to be a member of the church to participate. They are currently looking for volunteers who have pets who would like to participate. New members are asked to attend a workshop without their pet on May 17 from 8:30-10:30 am at the University Baptist Church chapel.
