The items on the all-you-can-eat buffet at lunch change daily. In addition to the entres, try the soups, salads and the naan (bread). Lunch hours are 11:00 am to 2:30 pm weekdays and Noon to 3:00 on the weekends.
Choose from the full menu at dinner. You've got lots of decisions to make: vegetarian selections, house specialties, curry dishes, tandoor creations, seafood, or biryanis (rice dishes)? Dinner is served from 5:00 to 10:00 pm weekdays and 5:00 to 11:00 on weekends.
Don't forget the bar and patio. Visit between 5:00 and 8:00 for happy hour!
The original Clay Pit, in Austin, Texas, was opened in 1998, and received local and national recognition as one of the best Indian restaurants in the country. In 2001, Clay Pit was featured in Bon Appetit magazine's annual Restaurant Issue as one of America's top ethnic restaurants. The Dallas Clay Pit is the second location for this brother and sister owned restaurant. The general manager at the Dallas Clay Pit is Navin. Stop in and eat!
