Last night I was watching my favorite show, Desperate Housewives. There was a handyman who went over the wife's head to the husband everytime a decision had to be made. The wife got offended and fired him. The husband went to talk to him and told him being in charge made his wife feel safe, so he let her be in charge, even though a lot of people thought she walked all over him. But as a husband his job was to make her feel safe.

That is what our job is with out real estate clients. Sometimes the wife is in charge and some times the husband has the more dominant personality. If you know and use the DISC personality assessment, or if your just really good at reading people, it won't take you long to figure out who will be making the decision. But don't ignore either of them.

Your job is to make them both feel safe with their home search and home choice.
