Is Experience Necessary?

Is Experience Really Necessary? I have listened to so many agents blab on and on that I have so many years of experience. So what, if truth be told I know that an agent is only saying that because that is what attracts customers who then become clients. The real naked truth in real estate that (we all know,) is that no transaction is exactly the same. Every transaction is like "new." Why? because there are so many variables and things that can go in reverse due to change in positions, dynamics, statistics, and the likes goes on and on. It's not simple math. Real estate is not an easy field.
