Clear Lake City is a master-planned community located in southeast Harris County, Texas. Clear Lake City was developed in 1962 by Friendswood Development Company, the same developers responsible for Kingwood and Friendswood’s newest community – West Ranch. Clear Lake City is adjacent to NASA’s Johnson Space Center, Boeing, Lockheed-Martin, as well as United Space Alliance. The community and its adjacent areas have a high concentration of engineers due to both NASA and the local petrochemical industries.
