When we hear that a new Forbes List being published, we all tend to think, "Who is the worlds Richest Person" this year. Surprise! They do other lists as well, and Bryan-College Station made one, though that doesn't make me feel super, special, it just justify, every thing I already know about what makes this a great place, and I am glad I found my way here, so many years ago.
After hearing the local news, I found some of the information on the website for KBTX. It was brief, but to the point. They indicated that "College Station would be a national and state leader in job growth among similarly-sized cities through 2012, and that Forbes Ranked College Station nbr 5 in projected job growth, with an annual increase of 2.9 percent in the next three years.
Forbes had also substantiated and reinforced the fact that College Station will continue to be one of the best places in the country to live, work and build a career (and a family). I don't think I need to expand on the obvious, but I will. We have Texas A&M, great Medical facilities that are ever growing and expanding, a community of parks, and great schools. and more and more companies seeing the value of a small town to locate to.
I guess i should now pay a little more attention to Forbes, they certainly on to something.
