Lake Conroe Celebrates Memorial Day

My husband and I, both Realtors, have just moved into the Lake Conroe area. We just love it. The water is magnificently blue and inviting and the boaters and jet skiers are a joy to watch. There is so much activity around the lake that there is not a moment of boredom.

We are currently taking an offer on a lovely home at the South end of the lake. It ceases to amaze me at all the incredible high-end subdivisions here are on this magnificent body of water at a price that I consider reasonable. Of course, most all who contact us are looking for Waterfront homes or at least a view of the lake so our tours are even a thrill for us!

The lake itself covers 22 thousand surface acres and covers only 20 minutes from the Woodlands all the way to the edge of the Sam Houston National Forest! You can find easy access from your boat to dock and eat at some fabulous eating places. The Memorial Day traffic on and off the water was surprisingly low!
