In light of the last weeks breaking news regarding fraudulent documents and questionable practices on the part of Mortgage Banks, Texas Attorney General, Greg Abbott has put a halt on all foreclosures in the state. 
This not only includes those homes facing foreclosure, but also the sale of previous foreclosures and evictions of persons in the process of foreclosure.
A letter was sent from Greg Abbott’s office to 30 lenders that may have taken part in “Robo-signing” of affidavits and documents.
