BPO, Short Sales, HUD & FSBO

Have you ever wondered who came up with all these Initials for Real Estate terms ?

So - if your an average consumer and someone says - I have to do a BPO - does anyone other than a Realtor really know what that is ( or cares for that matter )

BPO - Broker Price Opinion

FSBO - For Sale by Owner

HUD - Housing & Urban Development

Short Sale - I always laugh when I hear this - there is nothing SHORT about this sale! short temper - yes!

So if your ever talking to a Realtor - stop him/her and ask them to speak English and lay off the silly terms that we all use.
