Things have gotten pretty crispy around these parts. It isn't like we haven't struggeled through a drought before but this one is pretty darn bad! The City of Bastrop has just implemented it's Stage II Drought contingency plan with restrictions for water use based on times and locations. With all the weird weather patterns lately some parts of the country are getting more rain than normal ( probably ours ) and we aren't getting any ( send it our way! ). Although my husband and I have our own private well and we live out in the County we are going to abide by the restrictions in place for the City by choice. Needless to say thoughts and prayers in this area are focusing on some much needed rainfall here in Bastrop and for the rest of dry dry dry Central Texas !
