If you have always wanted to contribute or become more involved in the community here is an opportunity with one of my favorite organizations Habitat for Humanity.
Fort Bend Habitat for Humanity will be having a volunteer orientation on Saturday, June 18, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church's Fellowship Hall.
The program will give information about Fort Bend Habitat for Humanity, committee operations and needs and volunteer opportunities available.
The First United Methodist Church is located at 3900 Lexington in Missouri City.
