Some things are 99 CENTS for a reason...an overpriced at that!

I KNOW the stuff in the dollar store is generally not that great...some stuff is a great deal.  The bread my family likes is available at the 99 Cents Only Store for, you guessed it, only 99 CENTS.  At Kroger, it runs $2.79!  So we stock up on bread at the 99 Cents Only Store when we go.

When you get in there though, you can't help but wander around and look at all the "cheap" stuff...I mean, under a buck, you'll pretty much buy anything...right?

So what about this candy that doesn't say the name of the basketball star, but is there really anyone that ever wore #23?

Or how about these Pitted Dried PLUMS?  Seems to me they are trying to slip one by me as I know a dried plum is a PRUNE!

Or How about Dried PEAS, located in the snack section...do people really eat dried, roasted, salted, PEAS for a snack?

I'm wondering about the guy that needs Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Wash all in one?  Is this to present a uniform smell?  Is it because it saves 38 seconds in the shower to just plop it on and use it all over?! 


And finally, I think this one pretty much sunk itself without any help.  Where in the country would it be cool to eat this?  I thought this would be great to take camping to get your campfire going, right?

Have you seen any products that made you just stop and wonder WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!?
