New Agent

I'm a new real estate agent in Corsicana, Texas, which is a small market. I've been told that now is not the best time to go into a real estate career, however from what I've seen here at RE/MAX for the past year, it really doesn't seem to be that bad here in Navarro County. I'm interested in what other agents in small markets have to say about entering into this field at this time.
