Aside from their famous 'Topeka' switch in celebration of April Fools Day, Google has added even more pizzazz to their already mega-power search engine capabilities.
When Manning & Company is assigned an Asset (to sell) or BPO, we commonly will 'Street View' the home to either map, route or conduct an address verification. While dinking around on Google/Topeka today with street views, I stumbled on a little orange man with glasses on his head embedded in the frame. Clicked it and, whatya know, the world went 3-D. Check out my search of our office location, here in Richardson:
So just in case you have a pair of 3-D glasses laying around (or on your head like referenced little orange man), give Google street views a run. Not only can you map, route, and see the image of a destination, now you can almost walk through the screen to your place of choice. Where might this be used? I don't know, really - maybe cruising Beachwood Drive to see the Hollywood Sign in 3-D, Miami Beach, or Lady Liberty.
