The City of Round Rock is a suburb of Austin and is located just 15 minutes north of downtown Austin. A city of just over 85,000 people, Round Rock is nicknamed the Sports Capital of Texas for its vast amount of outdoor parks, trails into the Hill Country, and activities, and is host to the Nolan Ryan owned Round Rock Express, a Triple-A Minor League baseball team. Round Rock was built truly as an outdoor lover's dream. Round Rock is one of best managed cities in the State of Texas and has seen a tremendous rate of growth since 2000, growing over 43% in the past 8 years.
