2011 Year End Market Report, Waterview Community ~ Rowlett TX

Overall, 2011 was an alright year for both Sellers and the Buyers in the Lake Ray Hubbard housing market considering the economic state of our Country. Houses tended to stay on the market a bit longer than 2010 and sellers typically recieved less than their asking price ... BUT ... on the positive side, the Housing market saw amazingly low mortgage rates which are looking like they'll be remaining LOW for 2012!

Real Estate is local and it's actually Hyper Local ... so with that being said, here's a quick glance of how our awesome Waterview Community did.

• WATERVIEW Community, ROWLETT, TX: 48 Regular Sales (61 in 2010) & 21 REO/Foreclosure (9 in 2010), Houses were on the Market for an average of 97 days which is just 1 day longer than last year, and the wAverage Price dropped from $212,000 to $197,000.
