According to the September 2010 Multiple Listing Service report by the San Antonio Board of REALTORS(SABOR), the average price for a single-family residential homes year-to-date rose to $184,276, a 1% increase when compared to a year ago.
The number of single family home sales were up by 3% year-to-date.
The median price of a home dipped slightly year-to-date to $149,100, a 1% decrease when compared to a year ago.
Lender-owned properties accounted for only 12% of the sold single-family residential properties year-to-date. This low number, especially when compared to other parts of the country, further emphasizes the stability of the San Antonio market.
