According to the San Antonio Board of Realtors (SABOR), year-to-date single family home sales at the end of October 2010 had no change, or were equal to, home sales during 2009. Believe it or not, this is positive since we are several months into a market without the home buyers tax credit. We are maintaining a pace equal to a market that was boosted by this federal incentive. However, it is important to note that October 2010 home sales were down compared to October 2009.
The average price for single family residential homes rose to $183,080, a 9% increase when compared to a year ago, while the median price increased 7% to $150,200.
