The kids are all excited and I know some adults are too. There's some serious Halloween Happenins in San Antonio TX and for FREE! What's better than Free?

Looking for some safe family Halloween fun this year? Well, our own Fox 29 (KABB) and CW 35 (KMYS) is heading off their 8th annual Treat Street in Down Trick or TreatTown Historic La Villita. This Saturday, the 29th of October from 12 to 6 pm there will be entertaining, games, balloons, face painting and of course, Trick or Treat Candy for the kids, (if you're nice, I am sure they will give some to the adults too)! Again, this event is FREE so toss on those cool Halloween Costumes you made or bought and get on down their for some Treat Street Fun. Down Town Historic La Villita is located at 418 Villita Street #900A, San Antonio TX, 78205.

Brighton's annual Duck Race and Family Festival also kicks off Saturday, October 29th at the popular Brackenridge Park in San Antonio TX. The festival starts at 10:30 and will have food, family fun activities and even a costume contest that will start at 12:15. The contest is separated by age group.

The big event, however, is Brighton's annual Duck Race. Brighton Center supports children and their families with disabilities. Each year they must raise over $900,000 to maintain the the current level of services they provide for these children andYellow Duck their parents. One of the fundraising events just happens to be their Duck Race. You can adopt a duck to race up the River for only $5 and you have a chance to win a prize if your duck wins. One special duck will be chosen to be the $50,000 duck and if it wins and you are the one who bought it, it could be your lucky day!

A Lone Duck will cost $5
Family of Ducks (5 ducks) $20
Flock of Ducks (12 ducks) $50
Oodles of Ducks (27 ducks) $100

Another Cool FREE Halloween Event is this years Adopt-a-Block Hollafest. Here you get FREE food and entertainment to include rappers, dancers and graffiti Trick or Treatingartists! This Saturday, (lots of stuff happenin on Saturday), October 29th from 5-8 pm at 1617 East Commerce Street San Antonio TX. You want to know what is also pretty cool about this event? I won't keep you in suspense...before the event, volunteers and core event personnel from Dream Center San Antonio Texas will get together to provide block service to a 31 block radius. They do stuff like yard clean up, graffiti clean up and provide minor home repairs to those who need it. I think that is pretty awesome and you can also volunteer to help before you go Holla too! The day will go like this...
