Country Lake Estates is conveniently located 2.5 miles from 145 off of Louetta in Spring TX. Its three entrances to the South and one entrance to the West provides easy access into and out of the neighborhood. There are 486 lots in the subdivision. Village Builders, a Lennar Company, was the builder of the first 389 homes. Gehan is expected to be the builder of the remaining 97 homes in Country Lake Estates.

Location, quality of homes, quality of public school education, and neighborhood amenities are the reasons why people choose to call Country Lake Estates "HOME". Haven't decided what's for dinner? Kroger is five minutes away. Don't want to cook tonight? McDonalds, Wendys, Boston Home Market, Pizza Hut and Sonic are all within five minutes. Want to just stay in and watch the latest movie? Blockbuster is five minutes away.

The neighborhood amenities include a recreation center with game room, swimming pool, tennis courts, landscaped green belts, lakes with fountains, and playground.

The focal point of the subdivision are its two lakes. The larger lake is 18 acres and has three fountains and the smaller lake is 6 acres and has one fountain. Both lakes have walking paths around them for the residents to enjoy the tranquil views of the water and common sightings of ducks and egrets. 

There are some great bench areas around the lakes for you to take a break and relax. The annual HOA (Home owners association) fee of $660 is competitive with other subdivisions of similar amenity levels.

The children attend schools in the award winning Klein School District. School grades Pre K - 4 attend Kuehnle Elementary. School grades 5 - 8 attend Strack Intermediate.  School grades 9 - 12 attend Klein Collins High School.

The architecture of the homes built by Village Builders would be considered Mediterranean and Traditional. Many of the homes have stone and brick elevations. As of December 2007, Gehan Homes has not yet begun to construct their homes.  The homes range in price from the $160s to the $300s. The first homes in Country Lake Estates were built in 2003.
