Old Town Spring Pet Fest 2008 - October 18th and 19th!!

For two days in October Old Town Spring goes to the dogs, cats, ferrets, horses, bunnies, birds (you get the idea). 

Old Town Spring Pet Fest 2008 will take place October 18th and 19th 2008 at Old Town Spring.

The event will be Saturday from 10:00 Am to 5:00 PM and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

The event is dedicated to finding homes for the many wonderful animals in shelters and rescue groups across the Houston and surrounding areas.  Grab your furry friends and join in for the fun filled festival of entertainment and eduction.  This event helps to raise money, volunteers and foster homes for our many furry friends.  Mark your calendar now; there will be all kinds of events and fun.

Yappy hour Saturday from 4pm to 7pm to keep you and your pets entertained.

 Come see the latest in pet fashions, shop with all the vendors and the pet friendly stores in Old Town Spring, and find out what your pet is thinking with Houston's favorite Pet Psychic, Lisa Greene!

They have some great RAFFLE PRIZES for 2008!From a Sony flat screen, Garmin NUVI, Toshiba laptop and a couple more.  The raffle tickets are $5.00 each or 5 for $20. They can be purchased now at Different Strokes Pet Boutique or by calling 281.528.7070 or email PetAttire@aol.comand they will mail them to you. They can also be purchased at PetFest. All proceeds go to the PetFest Rescue Group/Shelter drawing on Sunday of PetFest.

Your furry friends do need to obey a few rules.

1. They must be on a lease, crated or in an x-pen at all times.
2. You are responsible for the actions of your pet.  You must keep them in control at all times.
3. They must be current on their vaccinations.
4. They must be sociable with other animals, adults and children.
5. Comfortable in a loud and festive environment. 
6. At least 4 months of age.

*The sponsors reserve the right to ask you to leave if your pet is not obeying the rules.

The models are of course our pets. Abby is our chocolate lab, the middle cat is actually our grandkitty who lives with us while our daughter is seeing the world.  The bottom cat is Calvin who I adopted from one of my daughters prior roommates who could no longer keep him.  He is the only rescue pet of the three.
